Service Description
Prenatal yoga meets every Tuesday evening at 5:30pm. This class is designed specifically for expectant mothers to help promote a healthy pregnancy, prepare for labor and delivery, and provide a safe and nurturing space to connect with your baby and bond with other expectant mothers. We will begin each class with a gentle warm up flow and then move onto a series of poses to help open and strengthen the body. Throughout class, we will incorporate breathing techniques to calm the mind and body. Class is suitable for all stages of pregnancy and modifications will be provided so that every yogi leaves feeling their best. No prior experience is required and yogis of all levels are welcome. Chairs and the wall will be used as props in class but feel free to bring blocks, bolsters, and blankets if you wish. About your instructor: Lyndsey started practicing yoga in 2010 after a doctor suggested it as a way to take care of a shoulder injury. Yoga has been so helpful in her own life that she wanted to share it with others. She got her initial 200 hour vinyasa certification in 2015 at Raffa Yoga in Cranston, RI. In the years since she has gotten certifications in children’s yoga, yin yoga, yoga for anxiety, and most recently prenatal yoga. She strives to make every class welcoming and accessible for all yogis. Come meet her on the mat.
