Hello! My name is Jan Iacobucci and I am a certified postpartum doula, lactation counselor, newborn care specialist, child passenger safety technician and member of Doula's of Rhode Island. I was born and raised in Rhode Island and reside here with my husband and three amazing children.

I have a calm and reassuring personality and work well under pressure. I am patient and easy to get along with and listening to your needs is very important to me. I want to make sure that your transition from pregnancy to your postpartum stage goes smoothly. My goal is to be there to support you along this once in a lifetime journey. The days that follow birth are an adjustment for all and it takes time to heal mentally and physically. I can help you recognize and achieve your postpartum goals.

Through the birth of my own children, I recognized the value of knowing my options, feeling educated in the decisions I was making, and being empowered in my journey of parenthood. I understood that a new mom can pendulum swing between feeling confident and secure one moment, and self doubting or anxious the next. I have a passion for being a mama’s biggest cheerleader, encouraging them to be who they were destined to be. Easing anxiety, calming chaos, educating, empowering and becoming apart of your postpartum tribe is what I am here for.
