Service Description

The first year of your baby’s life will be full of excitement, education and celebrations. Playgroups allow parents and caregivers to regularly meet, share ideas, and chat about the ups and downs of parenting. Tummy Time & Play is the ideal environment for babies ages 0-6 months old to explore, interact with adults and other babies, learning about the world around them. This playgroup will build the foundations for a baby’s social, emotional, and physical development as they take their first baby steps in lifelong learning, and you as a parent/caregiver will benefit too. It is a great opportunity to ask questions and build confidence with the guidance and knowledge of a Occupational Therapist. Class is hosted by Ashley Meizoso, Registered Occupational Therapist Meet Ashley: Hi! My name is Ashley, I am a Registered Occupational Therapist licensed in Rhode Island. I graduated from New England Institute of Technology with my associates degree in 2015 and with my Masters degree in 2019. I have worked with a diverse population throughout my career, however my heart lies with the pediatric population! I currently work at an outpatient pediatric clinic in Warwick, RI completing evaluations and treatment sessions with children of all ages. I am excited to share my knowledge of pediatrics and the importance of play with you all during our groups! Play group details: -February Series Dates: 2/4, 11 & 18 -Time:10-10:45am. -New Location: 432 Atwood Ave, Cranston, RI 02920 Tummy time & Play is a 3 week group series with drop-in option. *Well Nested is a shoeless wellness Center so please bring socks.
