Birth prep for those who don’t know what they don’t know and still dare to dream. A place for parents-to-be wanting to understand their sphere of influence while birthing. We'll discuss how to carve out a space for desired experiences, while allowing for the uncertainty that expansion brings. This workshop goes beyond what to expect, encouraging self-resourcing for the birth you deserve. You will: -Learn the spectrum of birth experiences from the perspective of birther and witness/support -Distinguish birth interventions as protocol vs necessity -Identify what supports labor progress + relief -Explore your unique vision for birth -Contrast models of care + how to align a team that suits *you* -Acquire materials for building a journey-oriented birth plan -Leave with prompts for reflection, templates, quick reference sheets, scripts for support & advocacy, and more..
