Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certification card, valid for two years. The training sessions are carefully planned and are designed in a manner geared toward the maximization of efficiency. Your time is valuable and childcare is expensive, so my goal is to best prepare you while taking up the least amount of your time possible. Instructor: My name is Christina Capone and I am happy to offer American Heart Association (AHA) HeartSaver certification classes in CPR, AED and First Aid. With over 10 years of experience teaching this subject matter, I pride myself on ensuring the class is relevant to your specific needs while still covering required topics in these life saving measures. It is my goal that you will leave our sessions feeling more prepared to administer CPR, AED or First Aid if you should ever find yourself in that situation. Why do you need this class? In most emergency situations involving children, parents are often the first responders. Knowledge of CPR and First Aid can make all of the difference in a crisis. As a parent to 4 small children, I feel these skills are essential to peace of mind when it comes to the safety of your child. FAQ -Q: What do I need to bring to class? A:Just your completion certificate from the online course. -Q: Do my partner and I each need to take the online course separately? A:Yes, the American Heart Association requires every person to take the course individually. -Q: Do I need to study for the skill test? A: No! The in person class is meant for everyone to succeed. It is a time to practice on the manikins and answer any questions you may have. We will review all of the skills and allow you the time to feel comfortable performing them. Don’t stress!
